Twin Valley at Reading High

At George Field, the Raiders (1-2 Berks II, 1-3) tied the game with two runs in the top of the seventh inning and won it on Kevin Kroener's two-out double in the eighth against the Red Knights (0-3 Berks I, 2-4). Kroener started the seventh with an infield single, moved up when winning pitcher Bradley Smith reached on an error and scored on Alex Oldham's single. Smith scored the tying run on an error. Cody Albright started the eighth with a walk and, after two outs, scored on Kroener's double. Erick Escobar (2-for-4) hit a leadoff triple in the bottom of the eight, but was thrown out at home on an infield grounder. Kroener went 3-for-4 and Jesse May, Smith and Ben Nelson each had two hits for Twin Valley. Jose Martinez had a two-run double for Reading and Frankelvin Reyes went 2-for-5.
