Monday at Elizabethville, Matt Remick and Dalton Furst each drove in two runs as the fifth-seeded Cougars (9-11) defeated the fourth-seeded Trojans (13-7) in a District 3 Class 2A quarterfinal. Remick and Sam Schaeffer each had two singles and two steals and scored a run for Kutztown, Jake Rabert doubled and singled, Ian Fenerty went 2-for-3 and Furst was 1-for-3.
