Thursday at Neffsville, Connor Maryniak threw a five-hitter and had an RBI single as the eighth-seeded Mustangs (20-5) upset the top-seeded Blue Streaks (20-2) in a District 3 Class 6A quarterfinal. Gov. Mifflin scored three runs in the fifth inning on a wild pitch, Kobe Cabret's sacrifice fly and Maryniak's single and took the lead for good. Maryniak struck out six and walked one, and Tyler Minick was 2-for-3.
