Highlights
Thursday at Denver, the third-seeded Eagles (16-5-1) scored five unearned runs and defeated the eighth-seeded Muhls (14-10) in the District 3 Class 5A third-place game. Cameron Burr went 1-for-2 with a double and a sacrifice fly for Muhlenberg, which will open PIAA Tournament play Monday against District 11 champion Southern Lehigh. Gio Cavanna had a sacrifice fly and Alex Krick went 1-for-3 with a double for the Muhls.
