Highlights
At Bear Stadium, Cody Kulp went 2-for-2 with a homer, double and three RBIs and Shayne Houck and Aaron Wilkins combined on a three-hitter to lead the Bears (1-0) to a season-opening win over the Crusaders (0-1).
Kulp's two-run homer in the fourth inning put Boyertown up to stay at 4-2. Teammate Tim Moyer finished 2-for-4.
Houck struck out six and allowed two hits and two unearned runs over four innings, while Wilkins finished up with three innings of one-hit shutout ball.
