Highlights
At Bear Stadium, Andrew Lawler pitched a four-hitter and the Winged Lions (10-4) took advantage of shaky defense to hand the Bears (16-1, 17-2) their first conference loss.
St. Pius X took the lead for good with two runs in the fifth inning. Vince Cotellese doubled and scored and Eric Vonstetina walked and came around on a wild pitch and two groundouts.
The Lions added an insurance run in the seventh. Vonstetina singled, moved up on a groundout and scored on an error. Brandon Sullivan went 2-for-3 for Boyertown.
