Highlights
Marlee Manwiller went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, and she picked up the win on the mound as Oley Valley (11-8) defeated Bermudian Springs (11-7) in the opening round of Class AA action at Garrett Field.
The Lynx jumped out to an early 9-2 lead before Manwiller gave up four runs in the bottom of the 4th. Jill Hartman came into replace Manwiller and held Bermudian Springs scoreless for the remainder of the game to earn the save.
Bailey McKeon went 3-for-5 and added four RBIs for the Lynx in the victory.
Oley Valley advances to play No. 1 seed Brandywine Heights today. The Bullets won the two previous meetings.
