Highlights
Susquehannock 1, Twin Valley 0: At Willow Street, Warriors pitcher Melissa Sheaf struck out 18 Raiders batters on her way to a complete game victory in District 3 AAA quarterfinal action at Garrett Field.
Top-seeded Susquehannock (19-1) scored its lone run in the bottom of the first inning after leadoff hitter Kelly Swade drew a walk and eventually scored on a Sheaf base hit.
Raiders pitcher Ashley Antosh wouldn't surrender any more runs, but her effort was not enough for Twin Valley (16-8).
The Raiders lone scoring chance came in the top of the seventh inning when they advanced a runner to second with one out, but Sheaf would strike out the last two batters to close the game out.
