Monday at Mertztown, Kylah Reading went 4-for-6 with two home runs, four RBIs and six runs to lead the Hawks (3-0, 8-3) over the Bullets (3-1, 5-4). Hamburg scored 10 runs in the seventh to break open an 8-7 game. Also for the Hawks, Katie Behler was 4-for-5 with two RBIs, Hailey Strunk 2-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs, and Jenna Shuman 2-for-5 with two RBIs. For Brandywine, Allyssa Bortz was 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and two RBIs, and Elyse Stufflet went 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI.
