Abby Wild pitched a complete game, allowing zero earned runs and recording six strikeouts to lead Perkiomen Valley to an 8-1 victory over Council Rock North at Collegeville. Gillian Barrie was 3-for-3, with three runs scored, and Ana Bruni hit an inside-the-park home run in the second round of the District 1 AAAA softball playoffs. No 4 Perkiomen Valley will play No. 21 North Penn in the quarterfinals Friday.
