Highlights:At Alvernia, Josh Conover and Dathan Marshall each scored 15 as the Eagles (6-0) took care of the Cardinals (2-4).
High Point worked its way to a 13-9 lead in the first quarter and slowly built up its margin throughout the rest of the game.
The game is a rematch of last year's District 3-A semifinals, which Central won.
Conover continued to close in on 1,000 points, upping his total to 956.
Jason Carman had 11 for the Eagles.
James Snyder led the Cardinals with 18 points.
