Highlights:At Muhlenberg, Blaise Fernandez threw a three-hitter as the No. 2 Trojans (17-4) topped the No. 7 Blazers (14-6) in Thursday night a District 3-AA quarterfinal. Fernandez struck out nine, walked four and gave up two earned runs in the third. Mennonite starter Andrew Martin hit the wall in the sixth, when Tulpehocken led off got their first two runners aboard to lead off the inning. Martin was pulled after throwing 114 pitches. Fernandez then drew a bases-loaded walk off reliever Jason Sauder for the go-ahead run, which began a five-run inning for the Trojans. Tulpehocken advances to a semifinal meeting against Berks IV rival Kutztown this Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Muhlenberg.
