Down 2-1 at the break, Weiser tied it eight minutes into the second half as Jeff Kohler fed Dan Dreibelbis for a goal. The Scouts went ahead with 18:10 to play on an unassisted goal by Dylan Price, then added an unassisted goal by Corey Elmer with 25 seconds to play.
The Red Knights, who were held to one shot on goal in the final 40 minutes, came back from an early 1-0 deficit with back-to-back goals in the first half. They took the lead 15 minutes before the break on an unassisted goal by Ivan Villalba.
