Highlights:Berks semifinals
At Shillington, RJ Smith floated in a 22-yarder in the 70th minute off a through ball from Chris Roell for the game's lone goal, and the defense-first Blazers (12-4-3) earned their first trip to the Berks League final since resuming their program in 1988.
Boone's last county championship was in 1957. The Blazers will face perennial power Fleetwood Thursday at 7 p.m. at Shillington in the championship match.
Boone keeper Bernie Roell made five saves, several of the diving variety, to keep the Berks I champion Bulldogs (12-4-4) off the board early.
