Highlights:In a District 3-AA semifinal at Landisville, Cody Hess finished a brilliant run and feed from Francisco Aparicio with 7:21 left in regulation, and the fourth-seeded Trojans (20-2) handed the top-seeded, defending-champion Cougars (22-1) their first loss of the season.
The win puts Tulpehocken into its first district final since 2001, when it won the Class A title. It will face Berks foe and county champion Fleetwood, a 2-0 winner over Susquehannock in Wednesday's second semifinal, Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hersheypark Stadium.
For more details see Jerry Reimenschneider's story in Thursday's Reading Eagle.
