Wilson at Gov. Mifflin (Boys water polo)
1st Half 2nd Half Final
Wilson 6 10 16
Gov. Mifflin 5 4 9
Highlights:At Shillington, Jake Lloyd scored four of his game-high seven goals in the third period as the Bulldogs pulled away from a 6-5 halftime lead to deal the rival Mustangs their first loss in a showdown of unbeatens at the Gov. Mifflin Intermediate pool.

Wes Hopkins had four goals and Tyler Toren three for the Bulldogs, who led 11-7 heading into the final period. "They did a good job capitalizing on our mistakes," said Gov. Mifflin coach Jonathan Bell. "They made us pay for them."We gave him (Lloyd) way to many opportunities to shoot and too many fouls in the shallow end. Scott Merz scored five goals and Seth Coldren four for the Mustangs (9-1, 10-1), who meet the Bulldogs (9-0, 11-0) again in the final regular season match Oct. 19 at West Lawn. "We kind of stepped out of our game tonight, especially defensively. I'd rather have this game happen now and not in the state championship."
