Highlights:At Hamburg, Melissa Phillips scored two goals to lead the Hawks past the Blue Jays in the preliminary round of the District III playoffs. Jillian Murphy and Karlie Heistand each added a goal to also lead Hamburg, while Kayla Simpson and Tori Dietrich each notched an assist.
Maura Keith scored the lone Holy Name goal on an assist from Maura Keith.
With the win, the Hawks has advanced to the round of 16 for the second time in three years. No. 13 Hamburg next plays no. 4 Bermudian Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at York Suburban High School.
