Highlights:At Bucktown, Darby Girton and Wynne McCann each homered to lead the Bears (14-6) over the defending champion Rams (17-5) in the PAC-10 championship game.
Winning pitcher Krista Schauder escaped a bases-loaded, two-out jam in the first, getting a pop-up to short to end the inning.
Girton, who went 3-for-3, hit a solo homer in the fourth to make it 1-0.
Boyertown made it 3-0 in the fifth. After Lizzie Kish was hit by pitch, McCann hit a two-run homer.
"I'm thrilled we won the title," said Boyertown coach Sue Benfield.
