Highlights:At New Schaefferstown, Emily Gingrich scored the game-winning goal in the 78th minute as Gov. Mifflin advanced to the PIAA Class AAA quarterfinals with a 2-1 win over Central Bucks East Tuesday night.

Gingrich’s goal was the 100th of her career. She has 33 for the season.

Sienna Zittle also scored for the Mustangs (18-4) with an assist from Gingrich.

Maggie Sepulveda had nive saves in goal for Mifflin.

Josie Dutton had the Patriots’ (17-6-1) only goal.

Gov. Mifflin, the District 3 champions, will play Wilson in the state quarterfinals Saturday.
