Highlights:At Shirk Stadium, Conner Howell scored four of his five goals in the second half as the Bulldogs (7-0, 8-0) broke open a close game to beat the Eagles (6-1, 8-1) in a match of unbeatens. Matt Close and Julian Jackson each scored three goals and Howell had two assists for defending league champ Wilson, which outscored Exeter 9-4 in the second half. Trey Yetter made 10 saves in net. Bryan Crim and Darion Einsig each had three goals and Ryan McGinley had four assists for Exeter, which outshot Wilson 42-35.
