At York, the top-seeded Bobcats (17-1) overcame a late deficit in the first game and swept the fifth-seeded Panthers (15-5) in the District 3-AA semifinals. Frank Melvin and Mitch Strobel each had six kills and Andrew Lash had 15 assists for Schuylkill Valley. Stephen Braswell had 14 kills, eight digs and two aces; Reese Devilbiss had 10 kills; and Luke Braswell had 33 assists for the Bobcats.
