Highlights:District 3-A first round
At Lancaster, Madi Sanders scored on an assist from Maddy Van Duran early in the game to lead the Cougars (7-12) to the first-round win over the Lions (10-5-2). Van Duran sent a pass from the middle to Sanders, who fired an 18-yarder past Lancaster Christian goalkeeper Elizabeth Boone. Kutztown scored in the eighth minute and kept the Lions scoreless the rest of the way behind goalie Sarah Woodland's six saves.
The district win was the second in program history for the Cougars.
