Highlights:Sam Schlegel had three goals and an assist to help Twin Valley to a 6-1 win over Hempfield Saturday at Exeter’s Don Thomas Stadium in the District 3-AAA fifth-place game.
With the win, Twin Valley (23-2) advances to the PIAA Tournament for the second straight year to face Mifflin County Tuesday at Memorial Field in State College.
Kelee Lepage had a goal and three assists and Ashley Hoffman and Abbie Romig scored for Twin Valley, which erupted for five goals in the second half.
