Highlights:At HersheyPark Stadium, Spring-Ford outlasted District 3 champ Cumberland Valley 4-2 in penalty kicks to earn a PIAA-AAA first-round playoff win.
Tied 1-1 after two overtime periods, Carrie Baumgartner, Haley Varlotta, Emily Counts and Amy Roth scored on penalty kicks to beat the Eagles (22-1-2).
Gabrielle Vagnozzi scored Spring-Ford's goal in the second half of regulation.
The win sends the Rams (18-4-3) into the quarterfinal round, where they'll take on District 7 runner-up Canon McMillan Saturday.
