Highlights:At the Quarry in Wyomissing, Steve Motika's penalty kick 19:56 into the second half gave the Cougars (7-4-1, 10-7-1) the critical Berks IV win over the Spartans (7-5, 10-7-1).
The win clinched a District 3-AA berth for Kutztown, which can also clinch a Berks playoff berth with a win or tie against Central Catholic Wednesday.
Wyomissing, which had already secured a 3-AA berth, could have clinched a county spot with a win. It now needs a win at Antietam Wednesday coupled with a Kutztown loss to Central to qualify for the Berks field.
