Highlights:Kylie Herb scored with 20:30 left in the second half Saturday to lead Wilson to a 2-1 win over Berks I rival Muhlenberg in a District 3-AAA preliminary game at Hamburg.
The victory advances the 15th-seeded Bulldogs (12-8-1) to the first round Wednesday to face No. 2 seed and defending champion Lower Dauphin at Milton Hershey at 7 p.m. No. 18 seed Muhlenberg (10-9-1) was eliminated with its second loss in three games to Wilson.
Wilson took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Lindsay Pruitt assisted by Megan Sensenig with 10:11 left in the first half.
Muhlenberg tied it on an unassisted goal by Krystie Kuczala with 24 minutes left.
Herb won it for Wilson by scoring off an assist from Jackie Stroebel 3/12 minutes later.
Azure Fernsler made 10 saves to help Wilson win despite being outshot 11-7.
