Highlights:At Newtown, Bridget Thompson scored in the first half and the Indians were able to hold off the Rams (10-8-1) in the District 1-AAA first round.
Despite 10 shots and nine penalty corners, Spring-Ford couldn't get past Council Rock North goalie Margaret D'Auria. In net for the Rams, Claire Kraft stopped 14 of 15 shots.
