Highlights:At Hershey, Sarah Oxenreider and Lauren Hughes scored the goals to help second-seeded Fleetwood defeat top-seeded Northern York in the District 3-AA girls soccer championship game Saturday at Hersheypark Stadium.
Oxenreider scored on a free kick in the first half. Hughes made it 2-0 with an assist from Sarah Crissman with 27:07 left in the second half.
Jenna Hawkins made three saves for the Tigers (19-1-3), who recorded their second consecutive shutout.
Fleetwood outshot its opponent 8-3 and also had a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks vs. the Polar Bears (19-3).
It was the Tigers' first district title since spring 2009.
