Highlights:At Boyertown, the Bears (1-1, 1-1-1) controlled the game, but failed to capitalize on several scoring opportunities in the loss.
Boyertown, which held a 23-9 shot advantage, surrendered a pair of goals in the first 10 minutes before limiting Spring-Ford to five shots the rest of the way.
Boyertown's Trevor Johnson scored his second goal of the evening to tie it 2-2 in the second half.
The Bears generated six shots in overtime, but Spring-Ford converted on its only shot in extra minutes, when Kyle Nieman completed a hat trick with a goal in the second overtime period.
