Highlights:At Landisville, No. 8 seed Hempfield shut out No. 9 seed Gov. Mifflin in the second half to pull away for the District 3 girls lacrosse opening-round victory. Kathryn Kline had four goals and one assists and Victoria Mollitor three goals and one assist to lead the Black Knights (15-5). Ella Hazlett, Claire Dennis and Ava Enriquez scored goals for the Mustangs (14-6).
