Highlights:At Laureldale, the Panthers (10-10) got a goal from Justin Padinske off a feed from Jordan Sands with just 15 seconds to play in the second overtime to earn an historic win for the program.
With the non-league victory over the Muhls (9-11) in what amounted to an unofficial District 3-AA qualifier, Schuylkill Valley climbed to .500 and qualified for districts for just its second time, and the first time since 1998.
Sands also assisted on Giuliano Caloiero's first-half goal for the Panthers, whose 10 wins are also their most in nine seasons.
Chris Geddio had the lone goal for Muhlenberg, which fell a game short of districts despite outshooting Schuylkill Valley 12-5.
