Highlights:The Panthers (9-7-4) took an early, first-half lead on goals by Kelsey and Nikki Lykens and went on to beat the Pioneers (8-4) 4-1 in a District 3-AA play-in game at Lampeter.
The Pioneers scored midway through the first half but goals by Brooke Sands and Brady Walsh put Schuylkill Valley ahead to stay.
Lampeter had nine corner kicks to Schuylkill Valley's three but the Panthers' defense played well and limited the Pioneers' shots.
Next up for Schuylkill Valley is No. 26 seed Boiling Springs.
