Highlights:In a PIAA Class AA semifinal at Hazleton Tuesday, freshman sweeper Liz Bergman had two assists and the Tigers (27-3) scored off three of her corners to advance to the program's first state championship game.
Jordan Angstadt scored 2:13 into the match, Stephanie Barnett headed in a near-perfect Bergman corner 31:59 into the game, and Emily Arndt converted another Bergman corner 15:10 into the second half.
Holy Redeemer (13-6-1) did not score until Alexandra Marriggi sneaked one into the net with 8:28 to play.
