After Chris Roell's first-half goal had given Boone the lead, Brett Sattazahn tied it for Weiser three minutes into the second half. The Scouts, who upset Wilson a week earlier, then leaned on the stellar goalkeeping of Josh Shartle before getting Bennick's game-winner.
