At Mechanicsburg, Kelsi Minich went 3-for-4 with three RBIs as the No. 7 Bulldogs (14-7) used a nine-run first inning to overpower No. 10 Muhls (13-9) in a District 3-AAA first round game.
Michayla Roberts added two hits and three RBIs, and Kennsey Epley had two hits and an RBI for Big Spring.
While the Bulldogs pounded out 12 hits, Muhlenberg managed just one off Big Spring pitcher Brittany Wagner. Tiersa Curry doubled for the Muhls' lone hit.
