District 1-AAA third place match at Harriton
(25-21, 25-22, 25-20) Perkiomen Valley defeated Penncrest 3-0 Saturday afternoon to finish 3rd in District 1. Ellie Min directed the offensive with 38 assists for the Vikings (20-2). Caitlin Corcoran had a strong afternoon finishing with 16 kills and 2 blocks, Cayla Veverka added 10 kills, while Helena Clauhs contributed 7 kills and 3 aces. Perkiomen Valley will play the winner of District 11, Parkland, on Tuesday night, in the first round of the state tournament.
