Thursday at West Lawn, Kassidy Means had 15 kills, 13 digs, seven aces and three blocks as the third-seeded Bulldogs (14-2) rallied to beat the sixth-seeded Mustangs (10-3) in a District 3 Class 4A quarterfinal. Bintou Sissoho had 11 kills, four blocks and one assist for Wilson, which advanced to a semifinal at second-seeded Waynesboro Saturday at 1 p.m. Allison Kline and Kara Brown each had six kills, two digs, two blocks and one assist, Cameryn Niedrowski had 15 digs, 35 assists, two blocks, two aces and one kill and Lexi Niedrowski had 13 digs, four assists, two aces and one kill. For South Western, Emma Filipovitz had 19 kills, nine digs, four aces and two blocks, Sarah Nicholl had 15 kills and four digs and Makayla Dyson had 44 assists, 16 digs and three kills.
