Highlights:
At Upper Perkiomen, the Bears (14-4) dominated the middle-to-late rounds and advanced to the quarterfinals against West Chester Henderson Friday, Jan. 30, at Council Rock South High School.
Boyertown won seven of the final nine bouts, outscoring Perkiomen Valley 36-9 during that stretch.
Zach Heffner (189), Jeremy Minich (112), Matt Malfaro (119), Jon Neiman (125), Alex Pellicciotti (140) and Tim Feroe (152) each recorded a pin for the Bears.
The semifinals and finals are Saturday, Jan. 31, at Council Rock South. Boyertown is the No. 1 seed. The top three teams advance to the state tournament.
