Highlights:
At Biglerville, Dustin Bower's pin at 119 pounds over Brandywine's Josh Stanley gave the second-seeded Canners the first four matches and a comfortable 24-0 lead as they beat the 15th-seeded Bullets (5-11) in the first round of the 3-AA Team Tournament.
Brandywine would close the gap within double digits twice, but could not pick up a big pin when it needed to. Phil Calafati picked up a 5-3 decision over Biglerville’s Nick Asper at 145 pounds to close the deficit to nine, 27-18, and Kyle Stoudt won by forfeit at 160 pounds to make it 30-24, but the Bullets would get no closer.
Biglerville won the last three matches as Devin Smith (189) and Dan Thomas (215) picked up decisions and Logan Bobo (171) won by forfeit.
