At Geigle Complex, Joe Giorgio came up with a pin for the Eagles (3-4, 4-11) in the final match to force a tie and give his team a win over the Red Knights (2-5, 6-13).
Giorgio's 53-second pin tied the match 32-32, leading to the Eagles' victory by tiebreaker criteria No. 1, number of matches won. Exeter won seven of the 13 matches.
The Eagles needed to win four of the final matches to pull it out, including a major decision by Girard Giorgio at 215.
