Highlights:
At Birdsboro, the Bulldogs (4-0 Berks I, 8-1) downed the Blazers (1-3 Berks II, 5-4) in a match that featured several competitive bouts, including three that went to overtime. The feature bout at 160 was decided in regulation when Wilson's Jordan Rosa, the county's top-ranked 160-pounder, scored a 3-2 decision over Colin Martucci, ranked second in Berks at 152. The match started with the teams splitting overtime bouts. Nate Soto scored a 4-2 win over Giovanni Giorgio at 125 in the opening bout to give Boone the early lead before Wilson got even on 6-4 overtime decision by Sheldon Hannibal-Nixon over Liam Gibbons at 130. The 285-pound bout also went to overtime before Sam Batchelor, ranked No. 1 in Berks at 215, posted a 3-1 win over Josh Dierolf, ranked No. 2 at 285. In another battle of ranked wrestlers, Boone's Ken Bock, No. 3 at 189, downed Tyler Suruskie, No. 4 at 189, 3-2.
