Highlights:
At Hamburg, Nick Hodgkins scored a takedown in the final minute to down Jack Stabile in the feature bout at 152 as the Spartans (1-1 Berks IV, 4-2) downed the Hawks (1-1 Berks III, 1-1). The rest of the match wasn't as competitive as Wyomissing won 12-of-14 bouts. Hodgkins, a 2008 state champion coming off a title in the Beast of the East Tournament, scored a takedown with 45 seconds left to break a 3-3 tie. Stabile, a state qualifier last season, scored a takedown in the first period for a 2-0 lead before Hodgkins scored an escape and takedown in the second period for a 3-2 lead. Stabile escaped to tie it with 1:22 left before Hodgkins pulled out the win to remain undefeated this season.
