At Hamburg, Jake Wood and Cody Miller scored key decisions at 170 and 182 to help the Hawks (1-0 Berks III, 1-0) stop a run by the Bullets (0-1 Berks IV, 0-1). Peter Renda scored a major decision at 152 and Adam Mackie scored a fall at 160 to help the Bullets trim an 18-point deficit to eight. But Wood scored a 6-2 decision over Nick DeLong and Miller clinched the win with a 5-0 decision over Brandon Kerver, scoring all his points in the third period.
