Highlights:
At Boyertown, the Bears (6-1, 8-8) held on to defeat the Indians (4-3, 12-10) in a backyard rivalry that featured five lead changes and several close bouts. Gray Garber received a forfeit in the next-to-last bout at 182 to give Boyertown a four-point lead. Chris Cornwell won the final bout in overtime for Upper Perkiomen, but it wasn't enough. Chese Garber won the opening bout by injury default at 220 and Austin Jacobs followed with a fall at 285 to give Boyertown a 12-0 lead. Upper Perkiomen won five of the next seven bouts, but the Bears hung in with Eddie Kriczky's major decision at 120 and Dante Colonna's 5-4 decision at 138. Jon Neiman also had a fall at 160 for Boyertown to raise his record to 24-3.
