Highlights:
HERSHEY -- North Allegheny swept the final four bouts to overcome Exeter 36-26 Friday afternoon in the Class 3A PIAA Team Wrestling Championships quarterfinals at the Giant Center.
District 3 champion Exeter (23-2) won the first three bouts for a quick 15-0 lead and was in front most of the way. Austin DeSanto scored a technical fall at 132 pounds to remain undefeated and give Exeter a 26-17 lead with four bouts left.
But the District 7 No. 3 seed Tigers won the last four bouts, two by fall, to advance to the semifinals,
Exeter opened the match with falls by Tyler Bagoly at 170 pounds and Dennis Karas at 195 sandwiched around a decision by Nolan Buck at 182.
Oscar Daniels at 285 and Chris Matthews at 126 scored decisions for Exeter.
