At Lewisberry, No. 15 seed Exeter beat second-seeded Red Land 5-3 in a Class AAAA first-round game on Monday. The Eagles used a four-run sixth inning, highlighted by Jake Parker's pinch-hit two-run single, to take a three-run lead. Corey Rowley went 2-for-3, and Joe Richie pitched a complete game to earn the win. Exeter advances to the district quarterfinals for the first time since 2007.
