Pennridge at Boyertown

At Boyertown, Pennridge capitalized in the sixth inning to eliminate Boyertown from the District 1 Class AAAA playoffs Saturday afternoon. The Rams had their way with the Bears (16-5) in the sixth inning. Pennridge drew two walks, scored on a wild pitch and a double steal. Joe Unangst added an RBI single as the Rams plated three in the inning and extended their lead to 4-0. Boyertown scored their lone run in the bottom of the sixth inning when Luke Stong's sacrifice fly scored Corey Fox. Fox, Zach Moser, Brett Moyer and A.J. Bogucki had a hit apiece for Boyertown.
