Highlights
At Elverson, Grace Marsalo pitched seven strong innings, giving up one run on five hits with a walk and nine strikeouts to pace the No. 4 Raiders (17-4) to a District 3 Class 5A first round victory over the No. 13 Colts (10-9). She also went 1-for-2 with two RBIs. The Raiders led 2-1 heading into the bottom of the fifth when they scored five runs all with two outs. Hannah Norton went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs and Sarah Clinton was 2-for-3. Rachel DeWolfe homered for Cedar Cliff. Twin Valley will face No. 12 Manheim Central in the quarterfinals Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Messiah College.
