At First Energy Stadium, Brendan Long hit a three-run triple to highlight a six-run third inning as the top-seeded Saints (17-3) overcame a four-run deficit to beat the No. 2 seed Panthers (17-5) in the District 3 Class 4A title game. John Dinnocenti picked up the win with 3 2/3 innings of effective relief, German Vasquez Marte went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs, David Jones went 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI and Bryce Fuchs had two RBIs. For East Pennsboro, Jake Madden was 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs and Nick Embleton was 3-for-4 with a triple and one RBI.
