At Reiffton, Morgan Donate went 4-for-4 with three RBIs as the eighth-seeded Eagles (17-6) beat the ninth-seeded Bobcats (14-6) in a District 3 Class 5A first-round game. Gillyan Dewbrew went 3-for-4 with an RBI and scored twice for Exeter, which had 17 singles. Haley Speicher was 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Rachael Speicher and Taylor Mentzer each went 2-for-4. Winning pitcher Hailey Krichten struck out seven, walked one and threw a complete game.
